Research Interests

I am interested in performance modeling and optimization of parallel computing systems, particularly at the intersection of hardware behavior and software scheduling on multi-device platforms. My embedded systems background has given me a foundation in low-level timing analysis, inter-processor synchronization, and memory hierarchy optimization — topics I want to explore further in the context of GPU and multi-GPU systems.

I am also broadly interested in embedded and real-time systems and hardware-software co-design.

Work Experience

• Research Assistant in Embedded Systems, Fraunhofer FHR (Dec 2024 – Dec 2025)
  • Developed real-time embedded software on STM32H757 dual-core microcontrollers (Cortex-M7/M4) in C/C++
  • Implemented inter-core communication using hardware semaphores (HSEM) and shared memory with cache coherency management
  • Designed and built an OTA bootloader for remote firmware updates on a dual-core platform, currently operational over UART with Ethernet (LwIP stack) integration planned
  • Worked on buffer pool and ring buffer architectures for inter-processor data exchange
  • Part of the PipeScan project: non-destructive pipe network documentation using multi-sensor fusion (GPR, thermography)
• Tutor for Mathematical Methods in EE, RWTH Aachen (Nov 2024 – Jan 2025)
  Preparation and presentation of four small group tutorials per week.

• Pipe-Network Reconstruction Project (RWTH Aachen & Viega, extracurricular)
  Exploring methods to reconstruct pipe networks in schools and hospitals using robotics, ground-penetrating radar (GPR), and X-ray technology.
• Group Project in Information Technology (RWTH Aachen)
  Simulation and testing of sensors in a MATLAB environment; programming of a self-constructed robot.
• BetterMind (Enactus Aachen e.V., Jan 2024 – present)
  Backend development and product planning for the BetterMind project within a student initiative.
